Seeking Volunteers Unable to Take Standard COVID-19 Antivirals—Are You Up for It?
Experiencing COVID-19 symptoms and unable to receive standard treatments like Paxlovid? You may qualify for our clinical study. Participants will receive study-related care and contribute to important medical research aimed at finding alternative treatments.
Purpose of the Study
The purpose of this study is to evaluate the safety and effectiveness of an investigational medication for treating COVID-19 in high-risk individuals who are unable to take standard antiviral treatments like Paxlovid.
Study Requirements
To qualify you must:
• You are 18 years of age or older
• You have symptoms of COVID-19 that started within the past 4 days
• You are at increased risk of severe COVID-19 illness due to any of the following:
• Being 75 years of age or older
• Immunocompromised
• You have a Neurocognitive or Physical Disability
• You have 3 or more of the following risk factors: being 65 to 74 years of age, lung, cardiovascular, rheumatologic, gastrointestinal, or kidney diseases, HIV infection, cerebrovascular events, mental health conditions
